Rose & Smith is surrounded by lush native foliage, charming birdsong and English heritage trees. The venue radiates vintage charm, relaxation and timeless elegance.
Rose & Smith was named in honour of the “Rose & Smith Builders” who built the newly renovated Racecourse Tea House in 1923.
Almost a century later in 2017 Paula Bevege, with the help of the Wairarapa Racing Club, restored the Tea House to it’s former glory for the beginning of a new era.
Rose & Smith opened in 2018 as the Wairarapa’s premier Wedding & Events venue.
Booking Rose & Smith guarantees you professional, friendly hospitality and top-quality local cuisine crafted by accomplished chefs. We serve the finest of the Wairarapa regions beverages and take pride in our close relationships with local artisans and producers.
